Cycle Wings

Made to reflect the size and shape of original Caterham cycle wings, our composite cycle wings provide the additonal benefit of significant weight reduction.

We offer two versions with either a fibreglass weave or carbon weave and epoxy resin. Our combination of either choice of weave along with epoxy resin provide superior protection towards eliminating starcracks.

The fibreglass variant are dyed black prior to delivery and should be painted. The carbon fibre variants do not need to be painted, but you must avoid prolonged or intense sun exposer while the carbon fibre is wet. This will otherwise cause advanced fading.

"Version 8" means that the cycle wing  will be 1" wider than the standard 7" size in order to accomodate wider wheels and tyres.This wing is suitable for use with wider wheels on slicks ,rain tyres or semislicks (e.g. Kumho Ecsta V 700 215/50R13 or Avon ZZS 215/55R13).

We also offer a larger XL wing in our program (last picture), which we can produce without the black edge. These are used for fitting 15" front wheels with e.g. 195/50R15 or even 205mm width.
