Composite Cacle Wings for Caterham Models
Our composite cycle wings are designed to match the size and shape of the original Caterham fenders, but with significant weight savings. Available in both fiberglass or carbon fiber with an epoxy resin system, these wings eliminate the common issues of cracking or "star cracks."
- Fiberglass Version: Comes in a black finish and should be painted for the best appearance.
- Carbon Fiber Version: Does not require painting, but care should be taken to avoid exposing hot carbon fiber to rain or leaving rain-soaked carbon fiber in direct sunlight to prevent damage.
8" Version:
- This version is approximately 1" wider than the standard 7" wing, providing additional coverage for wider tires. It is ideal for use with wider rims fitted with slicks, rain tires, or semi-slicks..
XL Fender for 15" Wheels:
- For 15" front wheels, such as those with 195/50R15 or even 205 width tires, we offer a larger XL fender (shown in the last image). This wing can also be supplied without the black edge trim if preferred.
Wing Stays:
- We also offer the appropriatewing stays to ensure a perfect fit.
