EVO1 Racing Seat – High-Performance for Road and Track
A Premier Product from Westermann Motorsport: Originally developed under the strict guidelines of the FIA for racing, the EVO1 is also extremely popular among street and touring drivers due to its unique fit and being the lightest seat on the market.
Precision Fit and Installation:
- The EVO1 can be easily installed using the original Caterham seat rails and remains adjustable in length.
- For vehicles used by a single driver, a fixed mounting to the floor is recommended. This not only saves weight but also allows for custom seat angle adjustments.
Optimal Fit in Three Sizes:
- Standard: The most commonly chosen size, comparable to Caterham shell seats.
- L (+20 mm): Provides an additional 20 mm of width for extra comfort or broader drivers.
- XL (+40 mm): Specifically for SV and CSR models, less frequently needed due to its larger size.
Versatility for Various Vehicle Types:
- We offer special seat brackets for other Super Seven manufacturers as well as for vehicles like Lotus Elise/Exige and Opel Speedster. Choose between lightweight aluminum brackets, carbon fiber brackets, or custom-made brackets.
Carbon Fiber Options for Seat Surface and Back:
- Standardly available in the popular 2x2 twill weave. Optionally, we offer the seat surface in finer 1x1 plain weave or a combination of carbon fiber and Kevlar.
- The back made of carbon fiber/Kevlar enhances the seat’s impressive racing aesthetic.
