A nearly non-wearing Torsen automatic torque biasing (ATB) differential intended for daily use in a primarily road-going Super 7.
It is often incorrectly stated that the limitied-slip differentials (LSD) provide a locking-effect of up to 75%. This number is simply wrong due to a high number of independent factors. An ATB unit starts working as soon as pressure is taken off of the unloaded inner wheel, moving the torque to the loaded outer wheel.
This unit is not adequate for race use of a light Super 7, especially those equipped with semi-slicks or normal slicks. Despite being equipped with a locking differential, the wheel inside the bend will spin when the wheel is in the air, as there isn't a "rigid" axle connection achieved due to the design.
Installation:
You may send us your differential so we can install a locking unit.
We highly recommend checking if the axle shaft's oil seals require new O-rings. In this case, it would be wise to replace the two bearings of the axle bearing shaft as well. This makes sense for differentials expecting to handle high power levels, but is not necessary with newer units.
