These high-quality aluminium radiators with large cooling fans were specially designed for our rigorous requirements.
Despite their compactness, these radiators provide enough volume to reliably cool the engine at all times, given that they are used in conjunction with a thermostat.
It can of course be argued that a larger radiator with much more cooling volume would be able to consistently maintain reliable operating temperatures without the need for a thermostat. However, converting to a larger radiator would also add a significant amount of unnecessarily weight at the most unfavourable area of the vehicle, namely on the forward-most point of the front axle.
We stock several variations for all Caterham models, including Duratec, Rover and Opel/Vauxhall.
