Half doors

As an aesthetic and ergnomic modification, we are pleased to offer carbon fibre half doors which fit with or without a roll-cage.

The leading edge of these half doors fits inside the protruding edge of the scuttle. They can then be fixed in place using the existing 'poppers' on the car, or pop rivets.

Half doors offer three distinct advantages:

1. Safety- Injuries suffered by a driver in the event of an accident are frequently caused when the arms are flung outside the cockpit. With these in place, the likelihood of this occuring is greatly reduced.
2. Comfort- Given that your arm and shoulder are no longer being buffetted, frozen and soaked as you're driving, you'll find long distance driving much easier. The ergonomically designed recess also allows further elbow room while driving.
3. Aerodynamic advantages- Helps reduce the drag by smoothing the airflow around the side of the car, which is why you see most racers running a half tonneau and sidescreen.

Please note that the cages of the metric chassis have to be underlaid with washers so that the half-doors have enough space.
