All DeDion Caterhams up to 2010, as well as all Caterham 620 and new racing cars with sequential transmissions have a 7" rear axle differential installed. Newer DeDion Caterhams have primarily been equipped with BMW differentials since 2010.
We offer various differential locks and ratio changes for these 7" differentials.
Ratios of 3.14:1, 3.38:1, 3.62:1, 3.92:1, 4.10:1, 4.44:1 or 4.70:1 are available upon request.
We supply and install differential locks for 7" differentials with inserted and bolted drive shafts. For pure road use or light trackdays, we offer the Quaife ATB Differential. The differential locks from TITAN, Tran-X and ZF are used mainly for motorsport applications. We also offer modifications to the locking effect for all locks.
If you do not have a Caterham, you can measure the width of the upper mounting screw and thus clearly determine your differential. This mounting screw has a length of approx. 178 mm for 7" differentials.
If your mounting screw measures out to about 190 mm long, you most likely have a 7.5" differential. For this differential, we offer the delivery and the installation of a Quaife ATB lock.
