It is commonly known that the design of most typical Sevenesque vehicles leaves a lot to be desired in terms of aerodynamic efficiency. This makes every aerodynamic improvement immediately noticeable in terms of acceleration and top speed.
Not only do these aeroscreens reduce overall weight, they also improve the looks of your Caterham by providing a sportier overall line based on the legendary JPE optics. This sportier line is not only meant for looks though, as a significant gain in driving comfort can be noticed due to the fact that oncoming wind is now routed over the driver's head as opposed to being directly hit in the face with wind resitance.
Most importantly, these aeroscreens provide the benefit of higher overall speeds due to superior aerodynamics.
We also provide a unique optional mounting set for easily applying these aeroscreens, which simply replaces the windscreen at the existing mounting points. The screen can then be easily removed and reattached, making this the most ideal solution for those who wish to drive with or without a screen at any given time.
This is especially useful during trackdays, where stones and rubber pieces from vehicles in front have commonly been known to damage expensive windscreens.
Our carbon fibre parts are supplied with a 2x2 twill weave as the default option. However, we can also produce a finer 1x1 weave, or in carbon/kevlar.
